Company History

WaveTel is a recruitment agency specialized in Telecom, IT, Energy, Aviation, Oil & Gas and Finance & Banking. The company was founded in Denmark in 1997, to attend the market demand for highly qualified telecom engineers, at a time of multiple launches of GSM networks across the world and of crucial transition from plain voice to the more demanding data services.
Following years of steady growth, WaveTel opened new offices in Portugal in 2006 and in Spain in 2007, to accommodate the increase in its activity and better support its customers. In 2009 alone, WaveTel has been working in over 15 countries, dispatching about 50 consultants around the world.
More importantly, since its inception WaveTel has distinguished itself by its trademark capability to identify and secure high profile consultants/employees with rare sets of skills and experience. This ability has been acknowledged by our customers as well as by our very pairs, to the point that we regularly get solicited by our competitors to help them source top-notch candidates for their own clients.
